TRUSTCOMPARE
is a
management information system for the comparative evaluation of Trust
performance, productivity and profitability. TRUSTCOMPARE allows
trust managers to compare their performance against the results of
selected peer groups as well
as those of the entire trust “universe”.
A reference source for individual organizations as well as for the trust industry as a whole, TRUSTCOMPARE provides quantifiable information about the trust department’s role and contribution to the overall financial services organization. As such, its usefulness extends to executive management, product managers and staff members throughout an organization.
The TRUSTCOMPARE methodology creates standard classifications of departmental expenses and product
performance, based on consistent definitions of product line,
revenue, expense and personnel classifications. The system enables
managers to compare, in detail, their performance against peer organizations of similar demographics across the country. The TRUSTCOMPARE report facilitates communication across the organization about trust performance and contribution, providing objective management information for analysis, strategic planning,
budgeting, and
forecasting.
Planned updates to the system for the
2007 reporting year include:
Changing the data input methodology from a Windows-based program to a secure web site, streamlining the data input and reducing the subscriber's workload
Self-selection of peer groupings, providing subscribers more choices for comparative analysis Two levels of output provide subscribers with the analysis they need. The basic Core Metrics version provides ratio and peer-group analysis. For those subscribers who desire greater detail, the optional Advanced Business Metrics version features more data elements and expanded ratio reporting. Enhanced reporting capabilities, including mean and standard deviation, peer analysis, and improved readability.
These changes will deliver increased value to the TRUSTCOMPARE subscriber for the FY2007 report, while future subscriber-driven revisions will further enhance the value to your organization.
